Every Day
My work is my visual diary, in which I capture specific fleeting moments during the day that are often ignored or forgotten. For me they become an autobiographical commentary, a reflection of that day sometimes clear in meaning, and sometimes obscure. The images are of the moment, simple and complete. The more I view the world around me the more I believe the words of Ernst Bloch when he wrote “ We are not born simply to accept or write down what was and how it was before we were here; rather, everything awaits us, things seek out their own poet and desire to be associated with us.“
